Kate earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Merrimack College in 2006, and later pursued a master's degree in Nutrition and Health Promotion, along with a Certificate in the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) from Simmons College in 2015. She honed her practical skills during her dietetic internship at Wellness Workdays in Hingham, MA, blending her business acumen with her nutritional expertise. Kate has further enriched her knowledge by obtaining a Certificate of Training in Obesity for Pediatrics and Adults through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Before joining OnPoint, she garnered valuable experience as a clinical dietitian in long-term care facilities and acute care hospitals in the Boston area. Kate also extended her reach by providing virtual nutrition counseling and leading community-based group nutrition courses.
Kate is currently enhancing her credentials by pursuing a Low FODMAP Diet for IBS certification through Monash University and working towards becoming a certified LEAP Therapist.
