Meet Kathryn


With over 4 years as a Registered Dietitian and 8 in healthcare, Kathryn's calling is inspiring meaningful nutrition change through personalized guidance. She's a Professor of Nutrition, inspiring students to improve their health, and a creative problem solver, constantly seeking innovative solutions.

During her graduate program she wrote her thesis on childhood obesity in low-income Latino populations, you can read it on the GMU MARS website! She loved grad school as it gave her hands-on experience with many different populations and developed her love of writing.

Kathryn went to the University of Vermont where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. After she graduated she went on to get her Master of Science in Nutrition from George Mason University.
